Cops say man arrested for urinating in Downtown Brooklyn subway station was carrying two guns, ammo

A man caught by cops allegedly urinating inside a Downtown Brooklyn subway station on Tuesday was found in possession with two guns and assorted ammunition, police reported Wednesday.

Officers from Transit District 30 initially spotted the suspect — identified 49-year-old Darrick McCall — exposing himself and peeing onto the northbound track of the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets station on the A/C/G lines at about 9:45 a.m. on May 27.

When the officers grabbed him, police reported, McCall initially gave them multiple false identities. They took him into custody and brought him back to the nearby Transit District 30 headquarters to verify his identity.

While at the stationhouse, police reported, the officers not only positively identified the suspect as McCall, but also found in his backpack two handguns as well as an array of ammunition. It is unclear why he was packing heat.

Police sources said McCall is known to the NYPD and has at least 11 arrests on his rap sheet, dating back to 1995.

Ten years ago, in 2015, McCall was cuffed for allegedly choking and shoving a 78-year-old woman in Brooklyn, then stealing her handbag and $35 in cash. As police caught up to him, authorities said, he attempted to choke an officer — and was booked on an additional count of resisting arrest.

Last November, law enforcement sources said, McCall was arrested after being allegedly found in possession of live ammunition and cocaine.

For the May 27 incident, McCall faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon and violation of local law.
