Cops are looking for two people who vandalized a Tesla in Bed-Stuy on Thursday.

Police say that at 1 a.m. on March 27, two unknown individuals approached an unoccupied Tesla — which appeared to be a Cybertruck — parked in front of 730 Monroe St. The suspects proceeded to carve the word “Nazis” and a swastika into the doors of the vehicle. 

The suspects then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force.

Footage captured by the Tesla’s “sentry mode” security cameras captured the entire incident.

Acts of vandalism of Tesla vehicles and protests outside Tesla dealerships have skyrocketed in recent weeks after Tesla CEO Elon Musk, now serving as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, fired tens of thousands of federal employees, ended hundreds of government contracts, and attempted to access sensitive data about U.S. citizens. 

Earlier this month, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the attacks on Tesla vehicles were “nothing short of domestic terrorism” and said several vandals were already facing federal charges. Those defendants had allegedly attempted to light Tesla vehicles, chargers, and a dealership on fire with Molotov cocktails in three separate incidents.

“We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes,” Bondi said in a statement.
