@FranieBGroovy1 @MalcolmNance I believe Colette aka Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, who wrote Gigi, never fully recovered her reputation following a series of pro-Nazi articles she wrote in occupied Paris. Likely she was coerced into writing them to save her husband, who was Jewish.
